Case packing RP4 for American cases with articulated robot for pick&place  

Case packing section:

Automatic 4/6 - axis articulated robot for packing on medium speed production lines by picking one or more product groups at each cycle.

The machine can have multi-picking or deposit points, for high flexibilty.

Operational cycle:

• The robot picks up the product from an infeed collation table by a mechanical gripping head with pneumatic control.  The type of gripping is designed according to the product to be handled.
• Once the product has been picked up, the robot brings the head on top of a case, waiting on a  conveyor, at the deposit height. Once in position the robot releases the product by opening the gripping segments. According to case pattern, the robot can make partial or multiple deposits.
• After depositing the product, the robot moves back to the collation table for the following cycle.

According to configurations and speed, the robot can be configured for single or multiple pick up or for picking a complete preformed row of products.
